Data Encryption & Storage
How Ringo encrypts, stores, and protects your meeting data.
Encryption
- At rest — all data (transcripts, notes, tasks, memories) is encrypted at rest using AES-256.
- In transit — all communication between your device and Ringo servers uses TLS 1.2+.
Access controls
Your data is scoped strictly to your account and workspace. No other user can access your workspace's data. Ringo's internal access to production data is limited to authorized personnel only.
AI & model training
Ringo uses best-in-class AI providers (like OpenAI and Anthropic) for note generation, task extraction, memory summarization, and transcription.
We do not allow third-party AI providers to train their models on your data. All API calls are made under agreements that prohibit data retention for training purposes.
Your data may be used for internal Ringo AI improvement. You can opt out at any time in Settings → Privacy.
Data deletion
To delete all workspace data, contact contact@ringoai.app. All data is permanently removed within 30 days.
